We ranked all 9 EPA-rated 2008 small pickups by what they cost to fuel. The Ford Ranger leads at about $2,022 a year (23 MPG), while the Isuzu i-370 Extended Cab is the most expensive to run at $2,583 (18 MPG). The median small pickup costs $2,325 a year to fuel.
